It has taken a long time coming, but SEGA & Gearbox’s Aliens: Colonial Marines is almost upon us, this one s said to be released this coming Spring, and I can’t wait. This new trailer we have courtesy of IGN is pretty damned awesome, there isn’t much on offer but it does look sweet.

The game which will be available on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC includes:

I’m at a bit of a crossroads here. On one hand I really like the sound of Richard Driscoll’s horror musical Eldorado 3D. The film also has a stellar cast to boot, but for me, the trailer doesn’t really do anything for me. Maybe its just me, check out the official trailer below and see what you make of it.

Eldorado 3D is directed by Richard Driscoll and stars Daryl Hannah, David Carradine, Michael Madsen, Steve Guttenberg, Brigitte Nielsen, Jeff Fahey, Patrick Bergin, Bill Moseley and Sylvester McCoy.

Synopsis: “After wrongly being sent to a Neo Nazi fund raiser instead of a Bar Mitzvah, Blues Brothers tribute band ‘The Jews Brothers’, Stan and Ollie, get offered a gig in El Dorado to make amends for the gig gone sour. At the very same time Jessica, a beautiful but despondent wife is on the run with a million dollars from her cheating husband’s night club. All roads lead to El Dorado; these lives intersect and at this point it means trouble. While these small lives revolve around each other, a bigger power is controlling the action to make their visit to this town one they will never forget. It’s El Dorado’s 200th anniversary, the townsfolk are hungry to celebrate, which does prove unfortunate for the tourists who come to visit and find that they are the dish of the day.”

This one hits DVD and Blu-ray in the UK on January 30, 2012. Unfortunately we don’t have a U.S. date at this time, but stay tuned for that one. You can pre-order Eldorado over at Amazon.

Garrett Brawith’s FDR: American Badass looks as if it fits right up my sadistic alleyway. It looks brilliant, or is it, so bad its good? Anyway, its total b-movie craziness and we have the plot details courtesy of B-D along with the NSFW trailer, I’m keeping my eye firmly on this one.

Forget Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and all its stunning visuals, this one tells it like it is, totally insane, dirty and down right awesome!

The film stars Barry Bostwick, Lin Shaye and Bruce McGill.

FDR: American Badass “follows Franklin D. Roosevelt (Bostwick) as a badass werewolf hunter tracking down the like of Adolf Hitler, Mussolini and Hirohito in his customized wheelchair of death. This isn’t the FDR you know, this guy’s got lip, and will punch you in yours.”

Whoa! What have I just witnessed? I’m not even sure if Door Number 8 (Aa Intlo) was a film. It was just simply, insane. Anyway, just check it out below for yourself and see what you guys make of it. Synopsis: “Chinna and Asha Saini, rechristened Mayuri, move into a new house with their two kids. Chinna is an atheist but is shown as a man who is concerned about the tulsi plant drying up countless times in the portico. He is puzzled and curious about the weeping sounds in the house, his wife falling sick, getting hysterical periodically, the maid’s and a friend’s death, the constant arguments that have been creating a distance between the couple, and finally his kid getting aggressive and violent.”

In this day and age you would think you have seen it all. Nothing left to shock you or maybe to cause some controversy? Well, our crazy Japanese friends sure know what buttons to push as director Tomomatsu Naoyuki is set to release the zombie flick titled, R*pe Zombie: Lust of the Dead.

I’m sure you can gather the title, I just don’t intend to insult anyone. So anyway, we have the first trailer and poster courtesy of Film Smash, unfortunately no synopsis is available at this time, but the trailer needs NO explanation, or maybe it does. Check it out and see what you make of it.

Now, this may just be me, but I find myself more offended by the shoddy CGI than I do with the controversial subject matter.

The film stars Alice Ozawa, Asami Sugiura, Saya Kobayashi, Takeshi Nakazawa, Youko Satomi, Miho Wakabayashi,Riri Kouda, Yuria Hidaka, Amu Kamika, Yuuya Takayama, Fukuten and Ryouichi Inaba.

I know we unfortunately live in a time of remakes, but only last month did I watch the original flick La Casa Muda (The Silent House) and the remake is already ready for its release. Its quite surreal. Anyway, here we have the full official trailer for Chris Kentis and Laura Lau’s Silent House which stars Elizabeth Olsen, courtesy of Yahoo! Movies.

Synopsis: “SILENT HOUSE is a uniquely unsettling horror thriller starring Elizabeth Olsen as Sarah, a young woman who finds herself sealed inside her family’s secluded lake house. With no contact to the outside world, and no way out, panic turns to terror as events become increasingly ominous in and around the house. Everyone loves a good folklore tale right? How about one that involves a giant axe-wielding maniac? Pretty cool, this maniac goes by the name of Paul Bunyan and an official trailer has been released.

Head on over to their official website and check out said trailer and see if this one catches your eye for 2012?

UHM – Upcoming Horror Movies – Your upcoming horror movies resource since June 24th ’99

After reading the synopsis, Andy de Emmon’s upcoming comedy werewolf flick Love Bite sounds like a cross between An American Werewolf in London and Cherry Falls, but is that a good thing? Who knows, I’m just glad its not another stinking remake.

Love Bite stars Jessica Szohr, Ed Speleers and Luke Pasqualino. Checkout the trailer below courtesy of Dread Central.

Synopsis: “High school is over and summer has begun in the dead-end seaside town of Rainmouth. While Jamie’s friends seem to be happy working in the local pie factory by day and looking for a shag by night, Jamie is bored out of his mind, running his pot-head mother’s B&B. He’s desperate to get out of there. But when he meets beautiful, smart and sexy American traveler Juliana at a party, he’s smitten – the world is not so small after all.

But soon after Juliana’s arrival, strange things start happening. One of the local teens goes missing at a party. Then, another. Jamie is warned by an enigmatic stranger that a werewolf is in town – and preying solely on virgin flesh! The only way to be safe seems to be to pop your cherry. (But that can’t be true … can it?)

Who’s up for more zombie mayhem? If that’s a yes, then step this way as we have another zombie flick on the way, this time from Canada which is entitled H5N1: Pandemonium from director Stephen Parent.

Unfortunately, the trailer reveals pretty much nothing, but their official website has a slew of images so head on over to the link above and give them a gander.

According to the site, this one is available on DVD from November 1st, but I’ve had a hard time tracking it down, if anyone has found the DVD, give me a heads up in the comments below.

The film is written & directed by Stephen Parent which stars Jon Welch & Roch Denis Gagnon.

Synopsis: “Gangsters vs zombies. Two former gangsters who are also brothers kidnap a bar owner narco-traffickers because of money he owes to two brothers. The two gangsters are also customers hostage Bar, but a surprise awaits them. In this camera tense between the H5N1 virus and zombies, will install a charged atmosphere of violence and carnage.”
