Originally scheduled for an April 26th release date, Blue Underground have now pushed back the DVD Re-release/Blu-ray to May 17th! The uncensored English-Language Version of the film will appear on the DVD and both the Uncensored English-Language Version/Italian-Language Director’s Cut on the Blu-ray!  Special features include the following:

Premise:

An English jazz pianist living in Rome witnesses the brutal hatchet murder of a renowned psychic and is quickly drawn into the savage crime. With the help of a tenacious female reporter, the pair track a twisted trail of deranged clues and relentless violence towards a shocking climax that has ripped screams from the throats of audiences for more than 30 years!

UHM – Upcoming Horror Movies – Your upcoming horror movies resource since June 24th ’99

The 1980 William Lustig-directed horror film will be re-released on a 2-disc DVD, as well as make its Blu-ray debut on October 26th from Blue Underground.  No confirmed cover art to reveal at this time.  As far as special features go, the new releases will feature hours of extensive features, some of which will include brand new interviews with actress Caroline Munro, FX creator Tom Savini, composer Jay Chattaway and songwriters Michael Sembello and Dennis Matkosky.
