ChromeSkull: Laid to Rest II – Official Synopsis Inside

Friday, November 19th, 2010

ChromeSkull: Laid to Rest II is now into it’s second week of filming and unfortunately last week Michael Biehn had to leave the film so he could film another production in Tunisia, which is a disappointment but in Biehn’s place we now have Owain Yeoman (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, The Mentalist) who will play Detective King.

So what can we expect from Laid to Rest II? Well dig on the official synopsis below:

“ChromeSkull: Laid to Rest 2 picks up three months after we last left ChromeSkull (Principe) at the end of the original Laid to Rest. Tommy (Dekker), who’s struggling to come to terms with his encounter with the masked killer, has now gone missing courtesy of the maniacal Preston (Green), a mysterious player in the sequel with a sinister connection to ChromeSkull. Meanwhile, our killer has set his sights on a new girl, Jess (Michaels), and after the young girl disappears, Detective King (Yeoman) must race against the clock to find her and Tommy before it’s too late and try to put an end to ChromeSkull’s deadly legacy.

Chromeskull: Laid to Rest II is written & directed by Robert hall and stars Bobbi Sue Luther, Owain Yeoman, Lena Headey, Thomas Dekker, Lucas Till and Johnathan Schaec.

Jalmari Helander’s Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale has made it’s way around conventions and it recently had it’s premiere at the London Film Festival. Rare Exports looks and sounds awesome, but this ain’t the Santa Claus you think you know, this is the real Finish Santa Claus not the modern travesty everyone has become all too familiar with.

The real Santa Claus ain’t so jolly so take everything you think you know about Santa Claus and throw it away as you are about to be shook to the very core.

The economy withers away, and all hope seems lost for the people and the nation of Japan.

Hope arrives in the form of Kika (Yumiko Hara), a beautiful high school girl armed with a chainsaw sword powered by an artificial heart. Recruited by the government, Kika leads a ragtag group of desperados on a secret mission into the zombie-infected wilds to exterminate zombie queen Rikka (Eihi Shiina from AUDITION and TOKYO GORE POLICE) and put an end to the plague of the living dead. But the road is fraught with a thriving zombie culture that, with its own designs on the living half of Japan, refuses to lay down and die.
