With anticipation of the release of Underworld: Awakening on January 20th, a new Underworld Trilogy boxset is coming out on December 20th, which will feature a new anime short entitled Underworld: Endless War. Check out the trailer and clip below.
At an isolated hospital deep in the West Virginia wilderness, three hideously deformed mutants go on a merciless killing spree. Now, decades later, this family of blood-thirsty cannibals is stalking new prey: a group of young skiers trapped by a blizzard. The abandoned medical wards soon become killing fields as the panicked victims come face to face with a chilling choice: fight back or die. With bonus footage too graphic for theaters, WRONG TURN 4 takes you to the most terrifying place of all…the beginning.
The first game in this franchise was one of the best horror games to come along in quite sometime. The film was also a very nice companion that furthered the mythos surrounding the game. Now with Dead Space 2 closing in they have yet another movie on the way only this time are changing the look slightly from a kind of anime to full on CG. Dead Space 2 and Aftermath will both launch on January 25th.
Thanks to the guys over at DreadCentral, we have the first clip from Howie Askins & Ryan McCoys cinéma-vérité style film Evidence. Something strange is going on out there, after watching the clip a quote from the film Predator comes to mind “There’s something out there waiting for us… and it ain’t no man”.
I have no idea what it is, check out the clip below and see what you guys make of it, I have a feeling this one is going to be awesome.
Evidence is directed by Howie Askins and written, produced and starring Ryan McCoy, the film co-stars Brett Rosenberg, Abigail Richie & Ashley Bracken

The first clip from SAW 3D has made it’s way on YouTube and we get to witness Bobby Dagen (Sean Patrick Flanery) at work, helping others after they survived Jigsaw’s traps and we get to see the return of Dr. Lawrence Gordon (Cary Elwes). Also check out BobbyDagen.com if you have survived Jigsaw’s traps. I thought it was quite funny that they created a website for his character, but has me thinking, is this a little overboard? Or is this just all part of the fun?
Check out the clip below:
What do you guys think?
Synopsis: “As a deadly battle rages over Jigsaw’s brutal legacy, a group of Jigsaw survivors gathers to seek the support of self-help guru Bobby Dagen (Sean Patrick Flanery), a man whose own dark secrets unleash a new wave of terror on the world.”

Synopsis: “WELCOME TO ZOMBIE WORLD!
An alien-spawned, mysterious mist blankets the northern half of Japan, transforming those who inhale it into ravenous, flesh-eating zombies hell-bent on devouring the surviving human population. Plunged into chaos, Japan is torn in two—the southern half of the country, where the populace remains untouched by the deadly gas, lives behind a heavily-fortified wall, while the northern half is a lawless, zombie-infected wasteland. Political forces are locked in a stalemate over whether the living dead should remain protected as family members or exterminated like a plague. The economy withers away, and all hope seems lost for the people and the nation of Japan.
Hope arrives in the form of Kika (Yumiko Hara), a beautiful high school girl armed with a chainsaw sword powered by an artificial heart. Recruited by the government, Kika leads a ragtag group of desperados on a secret mission into the zombie-infected wilds to exterminate zombie queen Rikka (Eihi Shiina from AUDITION and TOKYO GORE POLICE) and put an end to the plague of the living dead. But the road is fraught with a thriving zombie culture that, with its own designs on the living half of Japan, refuses to lay down and die.
Visionary filmmaker Yoshihiro Nishimura’s first solo directorial effort since TOKYO GORE POLICE is an epic, apocalyptic road movie featuring non-stop action and over-the-top splatter. The long-awaited realization of his dreams, HELLDRIVER is Nishimura’s bid to create the ultimate zombie film.
The showdown for the future of Japan is at hand and no one, living or dead, may survive to see it!”

Below you can checkout a 9 minute clip for Piranha 3D which was shown at Comic con it featuers blood, carnage and oh yes.. Piranhas. I am still not sold on the need for 3D and frankly will do my best to see the film in 2D and avoid the gimmick but with Alex Aja directing its a safe bet its gonna be a good time!
